I went to bed at midnight yet again. Woke up at 7 from the alarm and couldn’t bring myself to do anything. I’m still in that stage where I keep thinking, „Wow, am I exhausted!”
I had hoped to get some stuff done, at least the weekly and monthly planning but in the end my husband and I talked a bit longer and then I went send the iPad keyboard I didn’t like back before going to the health food store. Where I bought all the chocolate and some trail mix. Because that definitely helps with exhaustion.
When I came back I thought I’d have about half an hour before we’d go out to eat but my husband’s friends were already there so I did not wash my hair before going out.
The plan was to go to the nearby Greek restaurant. But it was closed because apparently they are now closed on Tuesdays. So we turned around and walked all the way to the other side of town to the other Greek restaurant. I even looked at their website beforehand. I mean, imagine we’d get there and it was closed. Haha!
Guess what happened?
Yep. That restaurant is usually closed on Mondays but since the day before was a holiday they were open and closed on Tuesday instead.
We ended up eating a doner kebab. I didn’t even take a picture, I totally forgot. I really liked the doner but my husband says the one he gets in Munich is better. Might be.
We came back home, I talked with the boy a bit, I finally sat down all by myself for a bit, I took pictures of my husband and his friends while playing because they asked me to, I sat around some more, managed to finally take a proper shower, hair and all before my one student of the day showed up, sang a bit and talked about breath control and asthma, ate dinner and talked with my husband some more, sat around for a bit, talked with the boy, started writing this post, did Duolingo, made a list for today, watched some C-drama while crocheting and went to bed.
Somewhere in the afternoon something snapped, I researched iPad keyboards again, ordered one and then went on to buy a couple of mangas that Gail Carriger recommended. There is a collection called „Miss Gail recommends“ on my ebook reader, by the way, because her recommendations are so often noteworthy.
Oh, and I took a covid test in the morning. Needless to say it was negative.
I’m hoping today will be a bit more grounded and calm, fingers crossed.
