Today I only have very limited time for blogging and yesterday I had a Zoom call in the evening so just a short one today.
I did the usual Sunday things in the morning plus folding three loads of laundry and then we had wild garlic risotto for lunch:
Even with the nice pecorino on top this will probably not become a family favorite, none of us really cares for wild garlic and the boy is fed up with risotto anyway. But yay for foraging in the backyard and eating wild greens.
In the afternoon I alternated getting things ready for my trip with social media and silly iPad games. I felt very tired and exhausted. In the evening I dawdled long enough that I did not have time to do the dishes or watch something before the Zoom call at 9. The coaching call was really nice but it felt like every person on the call was low on energy.
I was very determined to go straight to bed afterwards, then met both my son and my husband in the kitchen, there was some talking, then some more with the boy alone, then it was 11.30 and the next time I looked up from my iPad it was 12.30 and I went to bed.
Today will be somewhat busy, I need to bake Hefezopf, pack and do the usual household stuff. I also volunteered to pick up some salad for lunch. Exercise would be nice but again I’ll make do with a 10-minute walk. On the other hand I already did yoga. Someone reminded me that yoga counts as exercise. Duh.
