And boo for my voice getting worse again.
At least I slept well and woke up just ten minutes before the alarm after more than eight hours so not complaining there for once. When the boy showed up for breakfast and I said hello it became clear that I was more hoarse than the day before. So after breakfast I called and made an appointment at the ENT’s office. The earliest I could get was Thursday. I did a covid test that was negative, yeah!
Then I did the dishes and such, walked to the stationary shop and two health food stores, then back home again. My husband made the last few homemade lasagna noodles for lunch:
When the boy showed up almost an hour later he was a bit upset to find that there was no pasta for him, he had to cook himself some capellini.
In the morning Lucy from Attic24 had announced her next CAL and I pulled out the list of all the colors of acrylic I have. It looks as if I won’t buy the yarn pack but only a couple of balls. There are three colors so far where I definitely don’t have enough so I guess I’ll order those and then wait to see if I need more when the CAL is actually in progress.
Not that many students, one had rescheduled and another one called in sick. In between two students I went out again to get some emergency yogurt for today’s breakfast.
After dinner it took me a long time to get going again, started writing this post at 8.30, did Duolingo and the dishes, watched some C-drama and went to bed. I had started watching „Only for Love“ instead of „Dating in the Kitchen“ two days before because the kitchen drama was dragging a lot. Then I stayed up until I had finished reading Sarina Bowen’s „I’m Your Guy“ which reminded me about my ‚no reading of Sarina Bowen books in the evening‘-rule because I always finish them when I turned the lights off at one.
Today will be interesting because it’s a school holiday but not a regular public holiday and I forgot to tell my new students that I’ll be teaching so we’ll see if they’ll show or not.
