Well, I already told you about my morning.
I did everything very slowly and then set off to buy some groceries. My husband had offered to do the big supermarket run for me so I just walked to the one shop that carries the good yogurt and to the health food store. When I came back husband was like, „So where’s the olive oil, we’re almost out,“ but, well, olive oil was not on the list. Oops.
I put the groceries away, hung up a load of laundry and started folding another load, then ee had a slightly late lunch that was very good:
After that I ate some trail mix and chocolate, drank the rest of my mint tea and sat there playing games and reading stuff until I finally managed to do the dishes around 4.30. Somewhere in between the boy finally came downstairs.
Just when I had put my headphones on to listen to something while washing up my husband said he’d go to the supermarket now. Taking only a very small backpack and walking in the rain. Since he was cranky to begin with I refrained from pointing out that that might be not the best idea.
He came back 1 1/2 hours later dripping wet carrying three extra bags. And he had not brought toilet paper because he ran out of space. Also, hadn’t found the vegan ‚butter‘ he uses.
I guess I’ll do another supermarket run on Saturday, only having two rolls of toilet paper might not be cutting it for the whole week. Oh, and one small bread was cute as well. I usually get two to three loaves for the week plus some rolls. But then how could anyone know when I’m always doing the shopping alone?
I then ate dinner made from very unsatisfying bread, watched an episode of „Dating in the Kitchen“ which I really like but which makes me pretty hungry. It’s one of those fluffy Chinese romcom series that revolve around food and cooking. Very appetizing!
I managed to go to bed almost on time at least.
Today there will be more laundry and hopefully some cleaning and I’m really hoping the laryngitis will be gone by Monday so that I can go back to teaching. I have, in the past, managed to teach without using my voice a lot but it always freaks the students out and singing lessons are near impossible.
