Woke up from the alarm and promptly fell asleep again, so no writing. But morning pages and meditation.
Had a late and lazy breakfast already a little tense because of the doctor’s visit and the trip. Husband was still overwhelmed from the whole hail damage-thing which is rather understandable.
I only knitted a little bit but finished the t-shirt’s body. Did the dishes and went running. It was great but I walked way more than I ran:
It was pretty gray but dry.
You can’t see any of the damage from here but the tree line looked rather ragged and there were leaves on the paths everywhere. Someone must have gone through an cleared the paths, though, so everything was passable.
Then I fell into a bit of a slump which meant I started making lunch too late. Still, I did get showered beforehand and lunch was good and on time. Might have been a little better if the potato salad had time to sit a little longer:
Then the boy and I went to the dermatologist because of his acne. He got prescriptions for things to try and we went to the pharmacy right away. And then he had to go back a second time in the evening because something was not in stock.
We wandered back home via another supermarket, I wanted to get more scrunchies but there weren’t any I liked so we bought some licorice.
I took a break and then started packing for real. I’m taking too many things. The laptop and all the electronics, a new knitting project, the ukulele but only one outfit besides the one I’m wearing on the train.
The boy and I watched some more Star Trek, I tried writing a bit and went to bed.
Today I’ll spend most of the day on a train, leaving here at 10.30 and arriving at 6.30 with 45 minutes in Hannover. Maybe I’ll find a scrunchy there.
So I’m expecting a lot of time for reading and knitting and not much else.
