I turned the lights out around midnight (cue sad face). I did manage morning pages anyway but decided to push yoga to later. (I did not do yoga, big surprise.)
There was breakfast with my husband and it was nice, I did my usual internet rounds, then my husband talked about wanting to sharpen some knives which sent me searching for the new, shiny knife sharpener I had gotten for my birthday that I had never used, I did the dishes, changed the sheets on my bed and cleaned the house. All in time to still be able to help my husband with homemade pesto and salad:
I’d say I deserve a gold star.
Then I took a long break, talked with the boy briefly, played silly games and read and such, decided to eat a cookie or two (I had bought two kinds of cookies because we might have a guest on Sunday), stopped myself from devouring the whole package when I felt really stuffed and nauseous and generally sat around thinking to myself that it was really time to do the lunch dishes and start working on publishing tasks.
I did the dishes way late, ate an early dinner and absentmindedly opened my laptop to work on my blurb. And bio. I asked a couple of writer for feedback on the blurb and – ordered covers for the trilogy. I still have to fill out the brief, so far I’ve only paid for them but still, I’m one step closer to publishing.
Then it was time for my monthly coaching session which ran late, I started writing this post and sat down to knit in front of TV with another beer and a few almonds.
I did Duolingo and my foot exercises and went to bed.
Next up: the usual weekend things and starting to do taxes. Yeah!
