I could barely focus. And I’m in a hurry right now so I’ll try to keep this short.
I spent Sunday feeling vaguely ill from the excesses the night before. Both the beer and the food did not sit well. I did call my mother on the phone, helped my husband make lunch, well, the salad for lunch:
I talked with my husband, and later with the boy, scrolled through social media, found that a new and exciting community online had vanished over night, spent some time hunting down members of that group to figure out what happened (nobody died – yet – things are unclear, we’ll see), played silly games, planned the week (another exciting one), did all the dishes, decalcified the electric kettle and changed the BRITA filter, found both medical reports that I need to take with me this morning, communicated with my husband about today’s window installing extravaganza, pulled the tape off my feet again because it had come loose in the night, did Duolingo, watched some C-drama and went to bed. Oh, and I sewed about half the remaining ends in on the crochet blanket in progress.
No proofreading, no exercise, no morning routine, no voice or feet exercises.
This week will be great, two doctor’s visits and new windows. I mean, what else does one need?
