I went to bed a little late again and the first thing I saw in the morning when I woke up was a message from the boy about the shooting at Trump. I was wide awake in a second and spent the next hour or so looking at Twitter and news sources, talking and having breakfast with the boy.
I had way too many things planned for the day again and – as usual – that made me paralyzed. Had another long conversation about relationship stuff with my husband and over the course of the day I bought three new books.
I called my mother on the phone, we swapped health stories and I did the dishes past noon.
We had pea risotto for lunch featuring the insides of the mange touts that were left out for too long and it was very tasty:
After lunch I spent a lot of time playing iPad games and trying to get myself to do things. I eventually managed to finish the cleaning and prepped for the coaching later that day.
I ate dinner, opened a beer to drink while watching the soccer match, found out that the match didn’t start at 8 as I thought but at 9 instead and did some admin.
I watched the first half of the soccer match with my husband. It was not very interesting to watch but I had to go for my Zoom call at 10. Coaching was very motivating and fun. Also really helpful. Now I just need to do the things we talked about which is always a bit tricky.
Coaching ended at 11.30 and I turned the lights out after midnight, so today I am very tired.
I have a long day ahead. I should remind myself how much I’m craving my bed right now tonight when it’s time to get ready to sleep, I guess.
