I almost got enough sleep for once and the morning shaped up beautifully, even though I forgot to take my thyroid medication first thing in the morning. But everything was on time, well almost, until the weekly Sunday training. Which was especially good this time because it targeted feet, legs and hips. At the end I was able to briefly sit on my heels for the first time in months. (This is a weekly thing on Youtube. It’s in German.)
The only unusual thing was me waking up with my mind all made up about getting a new phone. I turned the lights on, opened my laptop and ordered one. And researched phone plans for my husband who might join the smartphone-wielding masses shortly. (He is still opposed to people looking at their phones all the time and claims not to need one but is also starting to see the advantage of having one when doing things like traveling. He’ll probably get my old one.)
Then we made lunch while talking and laughing. Being away for a few days has done my husband good, his mood has improved muchly.
Then the procrastination started. I finished reading a book, I started another one, I spent ten minutes or so with my drawing class. I made lots of lines. I briefly contemplated doing something from my to-do list and read some more.
And then I found „Going Medieval“ let myself get hooked and there went the afternoon.
The boy and I watched excellent Star Trek and I spin some more North Ronaldsay.
I went to bed a little before ten.
Today I will do all the things! Write! Exercise! Refill my thyroid medication! And more!
I feel like I need ten more exclamation marks. Maybe that will get me going.
