Second one this week.
But first the whole going to bed too late routine. I did set my alarm earlier and that meant I did have time for the manuscript before breakfast. I’m still reading what I read before and already found something that I need to mention again in the new chapter.
I did skip yoga for a change, I broke my streak after doing yoga every morning since the beginning of the month.
Husband and I had breakfast and I knitted a bit and then did the dishes before we left the house.
The weather was still hot and sunny but for the most part we biked through the woods so that was good. As usual my husband wanted us to ride next to each other so that we could talk on the way, something I really don’t like to do when biking. Riding my bike for me is not as mindless as walking, and I need to pay attention to the ground, is it sand, gravel, are there branches on the way, do we need to go back to single file because someone comes from the front, or worse, from behind?
My husband (like the boy) spent many years riding his bike to school with some of his schoolmates and riding his bike for fun with his friends in the afternoon. I did not.
Anyway, everything went fine and we did talk even when it was stressing me a bit at times. We got our usual beer garden fare, for me this time with alcohol-free beer:

Yes, I took the usual cheese spread, for the record, this version was much better than the one I had on Wednesday.
And then we rode out bikes back.
I read a bit and ate some chocolate, then played my video game for a while. I taught one student, then did bodyweight training with the boy, had dinner while reading, played some more, started writing this post, made a list for today and went to bed.
The first week of Pentecost break is almost over but I’d say we’re making good use of it.
