I went to bed on time and got a whole 8 1/2 hours of sleep, yeah!
I still had a slow morning and didn’t write before breakfast. But I did start a new pair of socks:

Originally I had planned to learn a new stretchy cast-on but I found I was too distracted talking with my husband to focus on it, so I did a tubular cast-on. Which means that I finally have that cast-on down pat.
After breakfast I actually opened the laptop and worked on my manuscript for ten minutes. That’s my new goal, ten minutes in the manuscript every day. We’ll see how that goes.
And then we got ready to bike to Munich.
When we left it started to rain. The weather varied wildly, sometimes it was sunny and almost warm, sometimes it rained but it was very cold all throughout. We were going all in wearing long johns under our pants, wool sweaters, rain jackets and mittens. We also found some insulating seat cushions in the bike shed and took thermoses with hot tea.
We dig get lost on the way but eventually got there anyway. When we arrived in the park we decided to eat lunch first, before the first dragon dance in the amphitheater was finished. Which was a good idea. While looking for a free table we ran into some old friends of my husband’s and ended up eating with them.
I forgot to take a picture of my food, sorry, I had spring rolls and Pad Thai. It was very good.
And then we watched the dances and listened to the (pretty boring) moderator and the festival blessing in Tibetan. Here is a picture of some Thai dancers at the end of their performance:

And this is one of the Nepalese dancers:

You can’t see it in the picture but this woman was amazing. She also slipped and fell at some point, the rain had made the wooden stage very slippery.
We left shortly after we ran out of tea. It was all very nice but a little cold still.
And then we biked back home, much slower this time, one of the reasons was that the wind was against us.
I ate an early dinner, then played Genshin Impact, talked briefly with my husband and the boy, did my usual evening things and went to bed too late.
I might have to cull today’s list. Maybe.
