I went to bed past midnight but I don’t regret anything. I had so much fun finishing that video game quest.
But that made me slow again in the morning. I’m starting to waffle about morning phone use as well. That is a very hard habit to break and I’m not quite sure it will be worth it.
Of course I’ll only know after I try it out for a while.
Anyway, no writing before breakfast again. I did yoga (15 day streak!), morning pages, dishes, and spent some time looking into project management stuff again. I keep finding Notion templates that look promising and when I open them they are full of stuff I don’t need and I can’t seem to figure out how to modify them. Looks like I might have acquired yet another huge project, sigh.
I did finish a sock, though, and now I have a new pair:

My husband did all the things including running and making lunch:

I only had very little time before my first student and I read a little and played some Genshin. I managed to level a character up, yeah! I had been working towwards that for weeks at that point.
Then there was teaching. It all went pretty well, I even managed to do my lesson prep in the ten minutes before my first student, phew.
I had one student cancel but by that point I was so exhausted that I just read a little. Until my husband fetched me because something had gone wrong with the computer setup in the basement yet again.
Looks like the adapter was lost, so his keyboard wasn’t working and when he tried to fix it (he thought the ethernet cable had gotten pulled out by mistake but that cable is only still there because all the cables are nicely bound together for eternity), anyway, when he tried to fix it he turned the monitor off without realizing it.
So I wiggled on all the cables, turned the monitor back on, went upstairs and ordered a cable with a USB-C plug.
I had one more student and talked briefly to my husband who was super exhausted and out of sorts as well, on top of the whole computer thing that painfully reminded him of the past few weeks he also had to go out in the pouring rain to get his tomato plants under cover.
Then I got ready for bodyweight training, the boy even showed up right on time because he knew that I had another appointment after, we trained and talked, I hopped into the shower, got dressed again and met my friend over Zoom for a writing session.
We wrote for almost an hour but after forty minutes I was pretty done with the day. I still started this post, made a list for today, and then that was it for the week.
Fingers crossed that we can celebrate Vesakh today without getting drenches and frozen. I will report back, of course.
