Well, I first went to bed very late. And then didn’t open the manuscript all day, two things that often go hand in hand.
Husband still needs rest but decided he wanted to run the big 10K round and was rather exhausted while cooking.
But before I was just about to open my laptop and write some new fiction words when the boy came downstairs saying that he did find those Warhammer figures he wanted but not on the site that has them cheaper and what to do. He had been wanting to get those exact figures back in winter and I said we’d give him the money as a birthday/Christmas present but then they were out of stock before he could get his hands on some.
Anyway, now they were available again for preorder. I opened the cheaper site, and voilà, there they were. So we ordered them from my laptop plus a few other supplies.
Then I descaled the electric kettle, changed the BRITA filter and refilled the water in my piano’s humidifier.
I went outside for my walk/run quite a bit too late. The weather was very sunny and warm:

I was all proud that I was running through all the running intervals until I returned back home and saw that I had clicked on the wrong day of my training schedule. Instead of 57 minutes of 1’30 of running and 3’30 of walking I had done 41 minutes of 1’ of running and 4’ of walking. Oops.
When I came back home almost ten minutes early that threw my husband off completely and he burnt the onions. Lunch was still very good:

After lunch I did the dishes right away (yay!) and then sat down to play Genshin Impact for more than an hour. Talked with my husband a bit and then it was time for writer Zoom and knitting.
The knitting was making good progress and as for writer Zoom, it was the first time all of us were there in weeks.
I put some frozen pretzels in the oven and then watched ‚Columbo‘ with my husband and the boy.
Then read some, started writing this post, made a list for today and went to bed.
So all the laundry and housework I had planned to do yesterday will have to happen today, as will all the writing. Oh, and it’s Mother’s Day, I keep forgetting.
