But I did do almost all the things that I needed to do, so that’s good.
I slept a cozy 8 1/2 hours (after going to bed half an hour late again) by oversleeping, so no manuscript time in the morning.
I had breakfast, knitted a bit, did the dishes, made the Osterzopf dough, and went on a short walk/run:

And one of these days I’ll get a pictures where my eyes are all the way open, you just wait and see.
Then I immediately turned around to go to the supermarket for toast, ham, salad, pine nuts, fake salmon and licorice.
When I cam back home my husband was busy making pizza and had put the egg yolk I had saved for my bread in his pizza dough. I might have lost it a tad, I was so proud of taking care of everything, then I worked like crazy, went running, went to the supermarket, got almost run over by a speeding white van at a zebra crossing and then my egg was gone.
Well, we had 10 more eggs…
I helped with the pizza and the salad and we had a delicious lunch that was only an hour late:

After lunch I immediately tackled the dishes and the baking sheets, then braided the dough, washed everything up while the oven was preheating and only took my break once the Easter bread was in the oven.
I did read a bit while eating licorice, played a very quick round of Genshin and went off to my weekly writer Zoom.
Where there was only one other writer besides me. My guess is the Easter weekend didn’t work out for most of us.
After that I met my husband who was hanging up laundry after having browned the lamb roast for tomorrow and researching how to make it in the slow cooker. Husband was very disappointed that I had used up all the creme I had bought. That is because I bought exactly as much creme as I needed for baking.
Turns out he would have wanted to make sauce with creme. I had no idea. I guess we’ll improvise.
Then we ate some salmon on toast with some pretty good alcohol-free rosé champagne, watched a rather good episode of ‚Columbo‘, then the boy and I tackled the dishes, I started writing this post, made a list for today and went to bed a little late yet again.
And guess what? Today will be very busy again.
