And another day where I was extremely tired as well.
The other big theme for the day was the boy‘s bachelor defense, starting first thing in the morning when he was actually awake and frying eggs while I as doing yoga.
I did not open the manuscript but I did write morning pages. None of us lingered over breakfast because all three of us felt like there was a lot to do.
There were dishes and some time with my husband and then I went out for an easier and shorter walk/run than my 10k program suggested because – tired:

I came home to a cranky husband, took a shower and then there was lunch. With all the hullabaloo I forgot to take a picture, so you have to use your imagination to picture rice and beans here. (I have to admit I was a little disappointed because I had expected pasta e fagioli but then my husband wanted to use the leftover bolognese sauce.
I only had time for a short break before teaching, and after the first two students I met the boy for another round of presentation prep. We had an hour for a 15-minutes talk and needed most of it to figure out technical stuff. None of my USB-hubs worked with his laptop, my old laptop did but turned out to have connection issues as well, so in the end we decided the best solution would be that he used my current laptop for his presentation.
I taught some more students then ate tortilla chips for dinner, played some Genshin Impact, we tackled some more tech issues, finally managed to figure everything out, he held his presentation in the living room on the big TV, still went over by one minute (which is probably not all that problematic), and off he went with my beloved computer in its flower case in a flower-bedecked laptop bag.
Throughout the day my husband had done two loads of laundry and I had not even managed to do the dishes but I decided going to bed at a reasonable time was more important.
I started writing this post on my tablet, did my Chinese and went to bed.
And today is the day where we all keep our fingers and toes crossed for the boy.
