I wonder if those two things are in some way related…
And now I’m short on time again. But getting all that sleep was wonderful and I felt much better right away. The boy went to uni for the first time in ages which threw me off a bit because I was his backup alarm clock and then he was in and out of the apartment while I was trying to write morning pages and work on the manuscript.
Husband showed up earlier than usual as well because he started the wood stove for the first time this winter. Outside everything was frozen, white, pretty and very, very cold.
I cleaned all the things, descaled the electric kettle, tidied a few things, did all the dishes and a load of laundry.
Husband made a nice eggplant and tomato sauce for our pasta at lunchtime:

I didn’t take a long break after that but instead finished cleaning and hung up laundry.
Then I taught quite a few students, used a break in between to do some admin and start filling in the form for the cover brief for book 3. Found that I don’t know how many pages book 3 has, tried looking it up, had to realize that I don’t have a finished Vellum document yet, tried formatting the manuscript and failed.
I’m calling it progress nonetheless.
After teaching the boy and I did some cursory bodyweight training, talked a bit, ate dinner, I played some Genshin (while he was egging me on), we did the dishes, I spent a few minutes with my Chinese app, started writing this post, made a list for today and went to bed slightly too late.
And now the weekend, hurray!
