I got enough sleep, went through the usual morning routine, talked with my husband but not quite as long as I would have liked because he wanted to leave the house at a specific time with his mother’s sister to take care of recycling.
There were dishes and such and then I walked all the way to the supermarket that I usually only bike to. But I was not in the mood for biking and didn’t have that much to buy.
That turned out to be an excellent decision because one of the streets I had to pass had been turned into a one-way street. Much easier to navigate on foot.
There was bratwurst for lunch:

I read a little and played some Genshin, in between my son went in and out. He had to be on time for his covid and flu shot. And then my husband showed up so that we could tackle the broken roller shutters in the kitchen.
The good news: we eventually managed to open the thing so we could actually see what was wrong. (Took a while). And then we found that we couldn’t repair the whole thing. But. I think with the help of one of those videos we might be able to eventually pull off the strip of plastic that is broken and put everything back together after that.
The not so good news: I managed to make my right thumb hurt with a sharp pain. Not my favorite.
We had to stop working on the shutters because my husband had to teach, so I folded a load of laundry and hung up another one.
My first student canceled. My second came in.
I ate dinner and played some more Genshin, complete with the boy witnessing my fumbles. I read and finished „Penric’s mission, I debated watching C-drama but thought going to bed with a book was a better idea.
So, today it will be rolling shutter time (again). I’d really like to get that fixed because with now the shutters can’t be lifted and that makes our kitchen rather dark.
