And that is why I’m only writing a brief post now.
I did my complete morning routine including another 30 minutes of manuscript time. Husband wasn’t eating breakfast because he had a fasting blood-draw for a regular check-up.
I sat, read and knitted for a bit and was just about to finish the second fingerless mitten when my nagging suspicion that something was wrong was confirmed. I decided I didn’t want to live with the resultant asymmetrical mess and ripped the mitten back to the ribbing. I’m hoping the next try will go better.
I did dishes and rode my bike to the grocery store and was back home too late. Husband had waited for me with lunch and was very late on a day where he started teaching extra early.

I played some Genshin and did the dishes, then taught some students. I had plans to use the small pockets of time between students for admin things but they were never big enough for that.
I enrolled in yet another course, ate dinner, played some more, and then tried to create an account for said course and – failed.
When I tried creating an account on the website it said I could sign in but not create a new one. When I downloaded the app and tried it there it looked like I could, then it needed a verification code and when I put the code in (I tried copying and pasting and also typing it in with three different codes which meant waiting half an hour between tries) it told me the code was wrong.
The code wasn’t wrong.
In the end I wrote an email to the course creator and am hoping this can be sorted out. And also, I got another email that I hadn’t paid my membership fee for the free improvisation society when we had paid for the two of us from my husband’s account at the beginning of the year, same as always.
Meh.
And all of those shenanigans meant that I went to bed late yet again.
So. Cleaning, teaching and sorting things out. I can do this.
