Which is fabulous but I can feel myself starting to wilt a bit, so I should preserve my energy a little better.
I almost got enough sleep but not quite and ended up being pretty early with my usual morning routine. Which meant almost 40 minutes of manuscript time. I did my yoga and all of four minutes of meditation. I was so enthusiastic that I talked non-stop over breakfast and then I knitted a bit. My husband helped me with lesson prep for my guitar students.
There were the usual dishes and such, and then walking and running. The weather was gorgeous, sunny but not hot, and there weren’t a lot of people around:

Lunch was as good as ready when I returned home, and so we sat down to eat:

And then chocolate.
There was almost no time between lunch and teaching but I managed to take a shower and have a nice, 15-minute reading break.
Originally I had planned to use the break between students for publishing things but I ended up doing admin and restringing a student’s ukulele. The student lives right across the street and when the string snapped they asked me for help. Since I happened to have extra ukulele strings around (of course), and had a bit of time, I restringed it right away.
Then more teaching delightful students, dinner, dishes, Duolingo and making lists.
Some time in the afternoon I had also unearthed the other spinning wheel bobbins. I own five and they are all full. Well, I say full, two are actually full, the other three have various odds and ends on them. Two have leftover brown Corriedale on them that I spun into a 3-ply. You can’t make 3-ply with what’s left on two bobbins. I mean, you can, sort of, if you chain-ply it but that wasn’t necessary.
And there was leftover singles yarn from my husband’s favorite sweater, the one I made in 2014. Now, I do own two spinning wheels and for one of those I have two sets of bobbins. Regular bobbins and flyer and laces bobbins and flyer. Those are all full as well.
But last night I sat down in front of C-drama and took all the leftovers off. And then I started spinning the rest of the purple fiber for a sweater for myself. I want 3-ply again, and it looks like there is enough fiber left to fill a third bobbin, so that’s what I’ll be doing next.
Very slowly, so that I don’t expend more energy than I can refill.
