I didn’t sleep all that well, again, but did get my full eight hours in so I’m calling it good. I was full of good intentions but somehow ended up reading before anything else which meant the proofreading did not happen before breakfast.
Husband needed to talk about problems with a friend during breakfast and while I made a little progress on the fingerless mitten. I did manage to set up the next step, so from there it is almost mindless to knit.
I talked briefly with my mother-in-law because she wanted me to run errands for her as well, did the breakfast dishes and went off. Supermarket, bank and health food store.
Later that day my mother-in-law had the boy help her walk to the nearest supermarket and buy groceries. It must have felt great to get her own stuff again. Though I don’t really mind, I am going out picking up stuff anyway.
With all the banking stuff I was a little late coming back home, and it turned out that my husband had been waiting for sugo. We were completely out and there weren’t enough tomatoes in the backyard anymore to make sauce:

So lunch was half an hour late. I played a little Genshin and read a little, started a load of laundry and then it was time for teaching. I had a generous break in between. I had thought I could use that to hang up laundry but it wasn’t ready yet.
I looked at stock photos that might be right for the cover of book 2, started writing a newsletter, felt completely overwhelmed and stopped again. I’d say that every four months is not quite the frequency I’d like but well, baby steps. I then opened the manuscript and worked on that for fifteen minutes and then it was time to teach again.
After teaching I texted with a friend and sent her links to all the word tracking spreadsheets. We both commiserated about our lack of spreadsheet proficiency.
Only then did I remember the laundry, so I brought that upstairs, changed into exercise clothes and started folding the dry laundry and hang up the wet one with the boy’s help.
We did bodyweight training, then there was dinner (mmh, pretzels), I decided to play some more Genshin and actually made progress. One more temple and then I’ll be done with the tutorial, yeah!
I did set myself a timer because I had other stuff to do as well.
I did the dishes, Duolingo, and bullet journal, brushed my teeth and then I pulled the spinning wheel out for some sampling. Not for long though, before going to bed.
Today will be a walk/run-day with quite a bit of teaching. Bonus points for determining a structure for my newsletters from now on and writing it down, extra bonus for starting writing the book cover brief.
Will report back.
