I was so excited to tackle two new additional projects that I not only did my complete morning routine, I also managed to find time throughout the day to go looking for the fiber I want to use for my husband’s sweater, and the buttons for the two cardigans that are almost finished. But that was later.
I did the morning routine (As of today I have done yoga every single day this month, hurray!), got two packages ready, did the dishes, mailed the packages and went walking/running in a light rain:

When I returned home, lunch was all ready:

Yummy pork cutlets if a little dark.
I played Genshin for a bit, this time I mainly walked around, looked at all the options and read the explanations. I also tried playing using the touchscreen controls and, um, no. My son thinks that should work better on a phone than a tablet and he might be right but I have to say, using the controller is better even though it doesn’t seem to have all the options. (And you can’t seem to use touchscreen while the controller is connected. That would be so much better, I could open menus with just a tap of my finger instead of awkward toggling of switches.)
Anyway, I’m having a lot of fun with this, even while being extremely bad at it. When I met the boy in the evening he pointed me towards some helpful sites and the one friend I have who also plays did the same. Which is nice because connecting with the two of them is one reason I’m doing this.
Then there was teaching, including a new student, and my last student of the day canceled. Again. In between I folded a load of laundry, took a shower and tidied the kitchen.
I ate dinner, searched everywhere for the spinning fiber (I was looking for a big cardboard box with Cyrillic on the side but didn’t find it), found a few abandoned projects in a box in the attic, failed to find the buttons I need, finally found the spinning fiber with all the other spinning fiber in my studio in a clear plastic bag, did the dishes with the boy’s help talking about video games and his thesis, changed the sheets on my bed, cleaned the washbasin and toilet in my bathroom, changed all the towels, did Duolingo, decided that it was too late to start writing this post and that I was too tired to start spinning, watched twenty minutes of C-drama while knitting and fell into bed.
Today will be almost the same and I feel already behind because I have yet to open the manuscript.
