And it turns out I barely have to to blog. So I’ll try to keep it short.
Yeah, I know.
Manuscript time isn’t really happening at the moment but other stuff is moving forward. I went for a very pleasant walk/run:

It was especially pleasant because of the nice weather but also because I decided to not stress myself out and just do short, 90-second running intervals.
Since I’m having dizzy spells again I’m trying to reduce stress as much as I can. Where that stress is coming from when I’m in the middle of summer break – no idea.
Lunch was very good, zucchini from our own garden:

I spent most of the afternoon on the striped cardigan. Fun fact: if I had left the first version with the eight buttonholes it would have been perfect because there is another buttonhole in the neckband. Hmpf. So I unpicked half the buttonband, then picked up stitches around the neck, knitted the neckband and wove in all the ends, tada:

Next up is sewing the buttons on, of course. I am very determined to tackle all the buttons, including the ones on the other two finished cardigans. (This is really embarrassing.)
I met my writer friends online and we mostly talked about things we had talked about before which made things a tad boring for me but was a good setting for picking up stitches.
The boy met a friend in Munich so my husband and I just watched a short video on Bologna. In Italian. It’s interesting how much I do understand, even though I don’t really speak Italian, but I really need to focus.
In order to go to bed on time I just let the dishes be dishes and did not start my blog post the night before.
Today there will be more busy and I am really looking forward to it, see you all tomorrow.
