Well, sort of. But the „brush teeth first“-trick worked. Once.
I did my complete morning routine but have to say opening the manuscript only led to me deciding I was done with the whole thing, I have no idea how to improve the abysmal not-quite ending, so I just compiled it as a PDF so I can start reviewing. And then I promptly didn’t open the PDF at all.
I started another 30-day yoga challenge, one I’ve done many times before. This one is a bit more strenuous than the one I did last month and the videos are closer to 15 minutes than 10, we’ll see how that goes.
Husband and I ate breakfast and talked about the stuff that went wrong the day before and I think we got things sorted. This is also a basic misunderstanding that will probably happen again in the future. Always frustrating, let’s hope we both remember that we both really mean well.
I went on a walk/run and again, every running interval felt like a marathon. It’s funny because it doesn’t seem to make a difference how long the running interval is supposed to be, either a minute in or 30 seconds before the end I will feel like throwing myself on the ground and giving up altogether. I’m sure this is just something in my head. I can walk for hours without problems and often when I’m sufficiently distracted I just run and run, no problem. I probably should find something more distracting to listen to.

I came back home to a cooking husband and took a shower. Lunch was very good:

I had the best intention to set a timer after lunch but somehow never got around to doing it, so my break was a bit on the long side. I did the dishes, tried finding my way into doing other stuff and failed. No folding of laundry, no publishing stuff, just sending a support ticket to IngramSpark to ask why processing my new account that was supposed to last 3-5 business days hasn’t been completed 9 business days later. Seems I’m not the only one with this problem, we’ll see how that goes.
I also got nice feedback to my book which was much appreciated.
The boy and I did bodyweight training even though everything was still sore from, um, Friday? And after that all my oomph left me and I sat around not getting anything done for too long. Even making myself dinner took half an hour of sitting around.
Still. I started writing this post and did the other evening routine things. And I brushed my teeth first. Okay, not first but way earlier than usual.
And today I’ll be getting a bone density test and will meet a friend online.
