I went to bed on time and then managed to oversleep so I probably got around nine hours of sleep? Which meant my brain was complete mush in the morning. Instead of doing my morning routine in an orderly fashion I forgot to take all my meds, started writing morning pages and wandered down an eReader research rabbit hole in the middle and when my husband showed up I was still in bed.
So I took my thyroid meds, then had to wait half an hour until breakfast. At least I did some yoga but there was no writing and nothing else.
Husband was irritated at my weird behavior which led to some no fun conversation over breakfast. Somehow I never picked up my knitting all day, and then it was time to wake the boy up so he could get out the house in time for his exam.
Oh, and one of the reasons that morning went sideways was that my husband and I were attempting that YouTube pizza recipe again. My husband had watched all three videos and made notes and was still not quite clear on how to do it. I’d say it’s not his fault, the videos were not all that clear. Anyway, my husband started the dough, I did the folding and put it in the fridge.
I did the dishes and helped him getting his lunch ready. Then I got told off for having followed the instructions on the package of his frozen meal. Well.
After that I went out the door for walking/running while being rained upon:

It was very light rain. I did meet my husband when I was just about to turn into the woods and he was coming back already. We had a nice conversation then.
I came back home and he was busy making pasta salad. I tried to help but somehow our communication was still off. The salad was very good anyway.

To be honest I did not eat all that basil.
After lunch I took a shower, folded a load of laundry and hung up another one and then only had a couple of minutes before my one student of the day showed up.
After that I decided to walk to the nearby supermarket to get more crisp bread because the kind I bought last week doesn’t taste good at all.
Well, that was the second supermarket that was out. So of course I needed to buy all the snack food instead.
Meanwhile the boy was finished with his test and texted me that it had gone better than expected. He also did some of that math where you calculate how many points you might have gotten on the problems you were able to solve and if that will be enough to pass.
My husband and I did the dishes while we waited for him to come back home and then we talked a little. The boy wanted a bit of time to himself and then we met for bodyweight training. My poor calves. But I did watch a video about how to do split squats the day before and that really helped.
After the third round of exercise for the day it was time to destroy all the snacks and gummy bears for dinner while reading „Cursed under London“ which so far I find excellent, then I started writing this post, watched some C-drama, did Duolingo and went to bed.
Today will be pizza-making (hopefully without a fight or other disastrous results) and then I am pretty hopeful I will actually work on something novel-related.
