And that with being super exhausted and overtired even at the start.
But that is where the power of motivation comes in. I actually did everything I planned to do. The complete morning routine including writing new words, then breakfast with my husband, a little knitting, breakfast dishes and then I went off to the supermarket on my bike.
Of course I managed to leave at the exact time when all the secondary school students were let out for summer break. But then if I had gone earlier it would have been even more crowded.
I went to two stores and bought groceries for us and for my mother-in-law who felt a bit under the weather. Came back home a little later than I had hoped but still early enough to have some time for tax stuff.
I did not finish the taxes before lunch as I had hoped but lunch itself was pretty good:

I only took a 15-minute break after finishing eating because I had realized I might just have enough time to finish the taxes. Also that they were due yesterday, not today like I had thought.
I managed to send the form out with about two minutes to spare before my first student. In between I wasn’t sure if I had put all the numbers in, if I had accidentally put my husband’s expenses into my form, and just when I thought I maybe might start having things under control I tried printing out a form and instead sent it to the authorities. Which turned out to be fine, but still.
So then I taught and taught and taught for a couple of hours. Meanwhile I told the boy I was teaching late and that any study help on my part had to wait until after my dinner.
And so it went. Just at the point where I was ready to fall flat on my face we met and I asked him questions about some vectors and math and stuff. I keep mixing up the Greek letters and symbols, and I mean, I just learned that when a mathematician writes a certain type of equation they will use something that looks like double bar lines (nothing to do with drinking just with musical notation, sorry) while a physicist will use regular bar lines and put a tiny arrow on top of his variable. How am I supposed to know that both are the same thing?
Oh, and FWIW, the letters k and kappa are really, really similar.
Anyways, we went on until after 9.30 which meant I had to cut my evening stuff very short.
Another day with no spinning and no TV watching, but hey, I finished the tax stuff.
And also, today is the first day of summer break. You know, the one where I will not sit around for six weeks waiting for teaching to start again.
