No idea why, I went to bed almost on time and did okay-ish in the morning. I even opened the manuscript and worked on it for 25 minutes.
But then I was too late. I still did yoga and my meditation and such while my husband was making breakfast and cooking all the different kinds of tea.
He was already almost finished eating when I finally made it to the kitchen. Because I had been thinking about how much protein I am (or am not) getting, I pulled out the scales and started weighing the components that go into your muesli and put the numbers into my phone. This picture shows the last step before eating, that would be 189.5 grams of yogurt on top of blueberries, apple, banana and muesli:

Husband was not happy about that, an argument ensued and kept us busy for about 90 minutes with short breaks in between. Which then made me late for everything else that day as well.
On a related note I have decided to set my alarm back to 6 instead of 6.30, this isn’t working and I’m not sleeping enough anyway.
I did the breakfast dishes (husband had offered to do them but then he had also told me at length how much stuff he had to do that day so I declined). He vacuumed the basement which left him with no time to mow the lawn, something he had started on Saturday or so.
I went to the drugstore, two supermarkets and the health food store for various things. Came back home late for lunch again but it turned out okay because the food wasn’t ready yet anyway. Husband’s mood have miraculously bounced back.
Speaking of protein, we had lentils with an egg. And rice:

I had a short break after that, taught two students, used the next break to hang up laundry and talked very briefly with the boy, taught more students, went on Instagram during the next break when a student canceled unexpectedly five minutes after she would have been due, and then ate dinner.
I almost went down a social media and silly games rabbit hole but managed to pull myself out just in time, started writing this post, did Duolingo, the dishes and my foot exercises, then took the singles I had finished spinning the night before and started figuring out how to chain-ply them, something I hadn’t done in years.
Here’s a picture of all the singles. They are very disorganized, I really hope I can put them together into a nice yarn somehow. They will need rewinding, though:

Today is another double-exercise day and I have a break between students that might just be big enough to make progress on the taxes.
