And they were both good but I was a little tired at the end.
I went to bed almost on time. I’m very proud of myself. And then I didn’t sleep as well as I hoped but, well, I tried.
I did my morning routine but unfortunately couldn’t make myself write new words. And then I was still pretty late. I did spontaneously open my laptop after morning pages and booked a DEXA scan for September. I will have to pay for it myself but talking about osteoporosis with my gynecologist and thinking about my mother who suffers from it greatly I thought it might be worth it. I hope it will be 80 euros well spent.
I used estrogen gel for the first time in my life ever. Which was a bit weird but I guess I’ll get used to it.
I did yoga and meditated and am happy to say that my blood pressure is normal again.
My husband and I had breakfast and talked about all kinds of things which was nice. Then I did the usual morning things, we talked some more, we did the dishes together because there was a huge pile that contained some things that were still there from breakfast the day before, and then it was time to walk through the rain to the nearby supermarket.
I bought all the things, came back, put everything away that needed to be refrigerated or frozen (well, apart from a few cheeses that I forgot about), put my contacts in and went out again for a short walk/run:
It was a bit late for lunch already when I came back but lunch wasn’t quite ready. It was delicious, though:
I followed this by some chocolate and then took a shower.
My second and third student of the day both canceled so I had some extra time. I wasn’t sure whether to use that time for publishing stuff or for dress-making stuff, my friend said to cut out fabric, so that’s what I did. (She was perfectly right, I want to wear the dress in ten days, cutting the fabric won’t get easier or less scary by procrastinating about it.)
The liverwurst jar and the bottle of rice syrup were just used as weights, don’t mind them.
Anyways, I did cut everything out, yay! Which means from now on I can just sew very slowly, one step after the other.
Then I taught two students, ate dinner, did Hello Chinese and Duolingo, started writing this post while the boy talked at me about Google search and AI. (By the way, if you don’t want AI in your search you can put -ai at the end. Which is a thing I learned yesterday.)
I then did my foot exercises, made myself a cup of tea that I drank in front of some Chinese TV while knitting, and went to bed.
Today will be just a normal full and busy Friday and then there will be Pentecost break.
