I went to bed on time! Woke up as usual and then completely forgot that there were men scheduled to start sanding our balcony that morning. I was very surprised when my husband greeted me 90 minutes earlier than usual.
I got dressed and then moved myself to the annex to write morning pages and do yoga. While the sound of sanders came through the doors.
But then it stopped.
Because sanding while it rains doesn’t really work.
We ate breakfast rather early, then I did the usual morning things and the many dirty dishes (Mozart violin concerto and some lovely Elgar), and then I went out into the rain to walk/run. As usual, the perfect length of running interval for me would have been 45 seconds, this time I had to do a full minute and every singly time I felt as if I was about to drop to the floor at the 45-second mark. I’m pretty sure this is psychological and not physical, I guess I need to train myself out of the feeling. I only met two other people, both runners:
I came home to a stressed out husband in the middle of cooking, was told I couldn’t help and took a shower before a lovely lunch:
The kohlrabi is from my husband’s garden and this year it is perfect.
I ate some chocolate and took a nice reading break and then I did the dishes again because my husband was so stressed out and had way more students that day than I. One of mine even canceled.
I taught a new student and then decided to watch another Zoom thing instead of working the dress. I am at that point where there’s still quite a bit of time (almost two weeks), so it’s not urgent but I also am dreading making a mistake while cutting the fabric. We’ll see when the urgency gets high enough to make me actually cut into things.
After the video thing it was time for my last student of the day, and then at 7.30 the boy and I met for bodyweight training. I had a brain glitch and started our 40-minute set before realizing it was actually a 30-minute day and then we started over.
And then it was finally time for dinner. I ate and read Vivian Shaw’s „Strange New World“ that I really like.
I started writing this post, did my foot exercises while making myself some tea, watched some C-drama after doing Duolingo and went to bed.
