But I didn’t get much done again. I need more sleep. Again.
I did write morning pages, did 10 minutes of yoga and 3 minutes of meditation and when I measured my blood pressure it was just barely normal again.
Breakfast with my husband was nice, we talked after and I started the foot of the sock-in-progress. I went online a bit and then it was time to do the dishes and walk to the nearby supermarket.
I thought it was a small shopping round. Ha! As if. I could barely fit everything in the three bags I brought. I packed everything away (but the bread), cut up some stuff for salad and my husband and I had a late lunch:
Which was not much of a problem because none of us had an early student.
I taught a couple of students and wrote an email in the break between two students and then my last student of the day ad to cancel. I tried doing something productive but failed.
Then I bought a few books after reading KJ Charles’s summer reading list. I did try buying the ebook of „Pagan“ on Amazon but couldn’t, so I got it on Kobo thinking I’d just send it to my ebook reader but no, it is DRM protected. I spent quite a bit of time trying things out after that, including installing two pieces of software. Well, if nothing else works I will have to read it on my phone but I really don’t like that. At least if it’s the only option. I’m happy to read on my phone in short bursts but for proper reading I prefer an actual ebook reader.
Then I ate peanut snacks and some pastry for dinner, not the most sensible choice. I did Duolingo, started writing this post, did my foot exercises, watched some C-drama and went to bed.
One more day and then the weekend.
