I’m a bit pressed for time again and very low on energy, so this will be a very short post.
I woke up from the alarm and was slow in waking up, wrote morning pages and just as I was about to start writing my husband showed up to talk about whether to start a fire or not. We got talking, I mentioned the book I’m currently reading („All the rage: Mothers, Fathers, and the Myth of Equal Partnership“) and it turns out I have quite a bit of resentment about that topic. Oops.
We went on talking all the way through lunch with a break for me going to the health food store, there was a lot of frustration and some tears and raised voices.
I did not write. I did do yoga, though.
Lunch was just capellini with tomato sauce because of lack of time:
Then I talked a bit with the boy and taught all the students. I had the plan to use my two short breaks between students to write but was too braindead.
After teaching I sat down and ate a bag of potato chips while re-reading the „Sumage Solution“ by Gail Carriger. I started writing this post, did Duolingo, watched a short episode of C-drama and went to bed.
Oh, and since I hadn’t heard anything about the shoe return (you might remember, I ordered shoes online, then returned them, the shop I returned them to did not register the return which meant that I had all sorts of hassle. The last word I heard from the collection company was that they would give me notice eventually.
Well, no one told me anything but I did look at my Klarna account and that one says that my return was finally accepted on November 5th and the collection company portal says the file number I have doesn’t exist. So I’m guessing I’m good? I would have appreciated a note about it, though, it was still niggling me and giving me worry.
I’m hoping for a calmer day today.
