Because I needed some time to get sleepy again after the smoke alarm incident I only got 6 1/2 hours of sleep the second day in a row.
I did wake up at 7 anyway and did my complete morning routine. I had to leave the kitchen for meditation because my husband was up earlier than usual. He had plans to leave the house by 9 and help a friend again.
I had breakfast, sat around playing silly games and reading and such for too long, then waited for a package (new batch of covid tests,we were nearly out) and then went for a walk:
I came back and ate leftover lasagna for lunch right away:
Then I procrastinated taking a shower, remembered that I had started a load of laundry a little too late for hanging it up before I was scheduled for another working session over video call with my writer friend and decided to hang it up anyway when I saw she would be late.
My husband swooped in and hung everything up.He had a fun but very exhausting day, mowing the lawn for 2 1/2 hours before jumping in the lake and going out for lunch.
I did mostly admin stuff but also found a couple of links to book covers that are similar to the ones I want and sent those to the designer.
I measured myself and tried making a decision about which size t-shirt to make and I sat there, scissors in tape in hand, ready to put the PDF sewing pattern together but gave up.
I did all the steps necessary to start the process of getting my new driver’s license soon. Next up I need to print the form out, put a few things together and send everything off by post. And yes, that is the ‚digital‘ process.
I ate dinner and too many cookies, sat around playing Solitaire for way too long and then realized I still needed to hang up the second load of laundry, do the dishes and take a shower. Also start this post and do Duolingo.
Well…
