Well, as I said I went to bed very late because of the Zoom call the evening before. Slept well and got up at the usual time. My morning pages were interrupted several times by the boy who has started eating breakfast around the time I get up for my morning routine. I did talk to him about it because while I really like talking to him I also would really like to be able to write my morning pages, do yoga, meditate and take my blood pressure before breakfast.
Breakfast was had, I talked with my husband as well, wrote my daily post and did the usual morning things and then set out to ride my bike for exercise for half an hour. It was already super hot at this point but it always feels a bit cooler on the bike.
I don’t like bike-riding as exercise at all but I really should rest my feet a bit.
Came back home, took a shower and then there was lunch. More zucchini, of course:
I tried a new rule out, I decided to set a timer for break times. So I get a better feeling for how much time has passed. That meant I still had time to do the dishes before teaching.
Second student canceled so I used that time to eat a snack and look at the skirt in progress. I’ve come father than I thought I had, the waistband is already attached. Well, halfway at least.
Then I taught some more, ate dinner with the boy, we talked and looked at Twitter together until my „do the dishes“-alarm sounded. I also set up a coupled of alarms for the things I need to do in the evenings. Maybe that will make it easier to go to bed on time.
I also want to get back to doing one simple thing each day towards publication. Yesterday that thing was finding all my notes regarding my author bio, the titles of the books and the few sentences I had jotted down for the blurb.
The boy helped me with the dishes, then I started writing this post, made myself a cup of tea, did Duolingo while waiting for it to steep, watched some C-drama and went to bed.
I had plans to renew a prescription at my gynecologist today but then found out his office is closed until the end of next week. So I’ll ask my GP if he can renew it instead.
