As I said, I went to bed at 12.30, didn’t sleep well and woke up early. Nevertheless I felt fine and not fuzzy-brained for once. Weird.
I wrote my morning pages but was too late for the rest of my morning things. Ate breakfast, knitted a bit and wasted some time. I did the dishes, husband showed up several times to talk about various cooking plans and the grocery shopping.
And then I did my strength training and ten minutes of yoga. Lunch was very good:
My husband thought the zucchini blossom would be decorative. The only things in the salad not fresh from his garden are the carrots. And some tomatoes that he ate. (I only eat tomato when heavily processed. Sauces and sugo is fine, anything that’s raw or still has the seeds or chunks of pulp is just, no. Shudder.)
There wasn’t much time between lunch and teaching but I still had a break and took a shower. I had a pretty long teaching day but there were two breaks in it and I took full advantage of being able to read in between students. Started a new book that has me hooked.
I ate dinner in between students, talked with the boy after dinner, then started writing this post, did Duolingo, watched something while knitting away on Clue 2 and went to bed.
Oh, and the piano tuner’s office called (right when I was in the bathroom, of course). He’ll come and look at the piano again on Friday. And my fingers continued being almost pain-free up to the point where I kept forgetting to take my meds on time.
And yes, I did the exercises again last night.
Today I have a dental cleaning, will buy some stuff for lunch and teach a lot again. I a now at the point where I have scheduled almost all the lessons to make up for the week I was out in April, phew.
