Went to bed just a little too late, slept well and woke up from the alarm. Lingered in bed a little too long as well, wrote morning pages and did yoga but ran out of time for meditation.
There was breakfast and talking with my husband and the wood stove and crochet. I did the breakfast dishes and went online and even opened the manuscript for half an hour. My husband came back from running and I did bodyweight training. When I came back I was informed that I should have exercised earlier and that it was my fault lunch would be late.I helped chopping veggies, making salad and grating cheese and hopped into the shower.
Lunch was pasta with bolognese sauce and the salad:
I only had a short break that I spend talking with the boy. I started doing the dishes but realized almost in time that my husband needed the hot water at the same time.
There were many, many students. In between I tried calling a potential new student. Phone calls are so frustrating, she didn’t manage to get to the phone in time and so we had our voicemail talk to each other. After and during dinner I went on reading „The lost future of Pepperharrow“ and only stopped when I was done with the book. Wow! I was basically on the edge of my seat for two days and found the conclusion very satisfying if bittersweet. Then I turned around and bought „The Bedlam Stacks“ by the same author.
By then it was almost 10 and I hadn’t done any Duolingo, no washing up, nothing. It looked like I would have to skip watching TV.
I went to bed after doing the most necessary things and wrestling the bad wifi in the kitchen to download the new book. With all the repeaters and network extenders in the house we do have wifi everywhere these days but my ebook reader only talks to the slower wifi networks and somehow never manages to download new books over it. I have to carry it into the bedroom or the annex and connect it to another part of the network for it to work. And it takes a lot of battery to do it.
I turned the lights out after midnight after a long conversation with my husband about emotions and relationships and such. He did help with the dishes, though. Afterwards I was wide awake again, made myself a cup of tea, read some more and then finally went to bed.
Today will be lots and lots of teaching again and the health food store. Some students canceled so I’ll have a bit more time in the afternoon.
