But super productive and it proved once again that doing more usually gives me more energy.
Since today is another day that’s filled to the brim I’ll just put here what I just posted on Ravelry:
Good morning Saturday! It is sunny and cold here today.
Yesterday was an actual do all the things-day which made me very happy but then meant I had trouble shutting down in the evening and went to bed way too late a 1 am.
Today should be another full day, I need to do the usual housework plus laundry, there are friends coming over in the late morning, I want to do bodyweight training and foot exercises, bake cookies, help the boy with his new desk chair and watch the third Doctor Who special. No time for a Saturday slump.
Yesterday was pretty epic, I took the train to renew my prescription, ordered takeout, went to the pharmacy (now all meds have been acquired), picked up lunch, in between started cleaning the house, continued doing so after lunch, taught my first student, more cleaning, more teaching, and when my last student didn‘t show up my husband helped me solve the sound issue I‘ve been having in my studio for months. Then I ate dinner and we watched the first two episodes of „Why didn‘t they ask Evans?“
The mini-series is excellent but really hard to understand, especially since the subtitles don‘t work. All those different British accents and people talking fast means that my husband barely understands anything and I only about 75%. And then it was a little too late to go to bed and I just sat there for two hours too tired to get up. Great choice.
Today I will undo the last part of the mitten-in-progress, apparently I made a mistake setting it up and now I have one stitch too many. I could fudge it, of course, but it‘s bugging me, I really want to finally understand that pattern. I‘d also like to solve the mystery why I always end up with the ends of the provisional cast-on wound in between stitches at the end points. I swear I‘m holding the yarn exactly as in Ysolda‘s pictures but it happens every time.
I hope you all have an interesting and enlightening Saturday ahead, see you.
