Well, I went to bed the night before at 1 am because I really wanted to finish reading a novel. And then I had to get up six hours later. I was all determined to do my whole morning routine but was already late and then the boy showed up and we talked for a bit. Which made me decide to not try to squeeze a 45-minute routine into 20 minutes of time.
I was really cold and my husband started a fire in the wood stove for the first time this winter. When I looked at the rest of the week realistically I realized that it would be best to move the weekly supermarket run forward instead of trying to do it the same morning as the doctor’s appointment. And I didn’t want to exercise because I was still feeling under the weather.
I bought all the groceries, biking through the cold, and then we had an early lunch of white sausages and soft pretzels:
Someone might have talked me into drinking dark beer for lunch. Though there wasn’t all that much talking needed:
I took a break talking some more with the boy. He actually ate lunch with us.
Almost all my students showed up despite the holiday and I’m going into the full-on Christmas song phase. So far only one student said she doesn’t want to play any.
Afterwards I ate dinner, started writing this post, did some quick Duolingo and then watched „Yet to Come“ with my husband.
Today there will be the visit to the ENT doctor, lots and lots of teaching and hopefully not much more. I already warned my singing student of the day that I might cancel, I need to see how I feel later and what the doctor says.
Laryngitis is always unpleasant but I don’t think I’ve ever had it for as long as this time.
