To round out the low energy week.
On the bright side I did get enough sleep and slept well, on the not so bright side I still felt like I wanted to crawl into a hole and sleep for a week. And my voice was worse again.
I did pretty well in the morning, wrote my morning pages and was in time to finish the whole morning routine but then the boy showed up and I decided to skip yoga and meditation again in favor of talking with him. I had an early breakfast, talked with my husband while knitting, realized that the end of the first sleeve on the sweater-in-progress is in sight and even opened the manuscript.
The plan was to do my usual weekly cleaning as early as possible but in the end I ran out of time yet again. The only thing I got done was deal with the recycling, and then I decided to deal with all the clean laundry first. My husband came back from running while I was still folding and sorting. He really dislikes it when I move around the house too much while he is busy in the kitchen (for some reason for him cooking involves constantly going from the garden to his studio to the basement to the kitchen and he gets startled every time someone crosses his path) so in the end I just helped him making the salad.
We had spaghetti aglio e olio:
Because I am avoiding histamine at the moment there actually were no chilis in the spaghetti and I only used a very small amount of parmesan. My poor husband had to eat his chilis on the side and said it’s not the same.
I had an early start to teaching but only three students all in all. I had planned to finish the cleaning between 4 and 6 but took a break first and then it was rather dark. So I guess I’ll be cleaning today.
After my last student had left my husband had already started doing the dishes, I started writing this post, did my foot exercises and Duolingo, watched an episode of C-drama and some other stuff and went to bed too late.
I’m really hoping I get to recharge this weekend. Since there is nothing planned the chances should be good.
