I woke up early and only dawdled a little so I did do some yoga and meditation before breakfast. Nothing else, though.
Long talk with my husband and some sock knitting and the boy was up late again. Then dishes and such, cutting my husband’s hair and off to the pharmacy for allergy medication. Came back home and went to my studio because I wanted to start the ‚Publishing 101‘-course. When I surfaced again twenty minutes later it turned out I was too late for helping with lunch. We had planned to make lasagna without checking that we had everything so I went out again to buy milk and butter.
We made lasagna under pressure and got it ready fifteen minutes before my first lesson of the day. At least I had taken a shower and prepared my studio beforehand:
My student was early and I had her waiting for five minutes while I finished eating. I’m really glad that that doesn’t happen a lot anymore.
I only taught two students with a break in between so not all that strenuous. I did my bodyweight training despite not feeling like it and still being sore from stacking wood. Then I watched some more of the course, ate some potato chips and got ready for the remote knitting meeting. It was really nice again. This time there were only nine of us or so, we sat there knitting and reading for hours. I left early, at ten, read a bit and went to bed.
So, a good day even if I didn’t work on the novel. I did finish the first sleeve of my cardigan during the knitting meeting. I did that thing where you take a project you don’t like working on to a meeting so you have to, and now I’m motivated again.
Today there will be running, I think, and maybe some kind of excursion but we haven’t planned anything yet. There will be green beans for lunch, that much is clear. I’d like to finish watching the course and maybe get a head start on my homework, we’ll see. Oh, and the novel. And prep for tomorrow’s lessons.
Yeah, right.
