I went to bed too late, though. And yes, those two things are related.
I woke up from the alarm at 5.15, did yoga, meditation, morning pages and actually spent 25 minutes reading the novel-in-progress and making notes. Had breakfast and read, then back to the novel. My husband came over to the kitchen, we talked while he made his breakfast and ate and I started knitting a sock. I even bought a new pattern for it.
More talk, planning lunch and when and how to deal with all the fruit that is ripening at the moment. Household stuff, then running/walking. I’m now at intervals of five minutes running/ one minute walking. Unfortunately it was rather hot and at the halfway mark I started wilting:
I would have thought there would be more people out:
This is how hot I felt:
Back home I dealt with all the laundry while my husband made lunch:
Then dishes, a bit of a break and working on the podcast. I got almost finished just before dinner. The boy and I ate in front of the TV and watched the Firefly movie, „Serenity“. Very good. I plied some yarn. I crammed it as full as I possibly could but did not manage to squeeze the last bit on. That will become a nice cowl, though, and that project is now finished.
After that the boy helped me get the red currants ready for making jam and that is why I went to bed too late. I started writing this post while the berries were in the pressure cooker.
Today there will be some yoga, the finishing of the podcast and all the jam-making. There are several kilos of sour cherries already harvested with my name on it. And my husband requested some red currant cake. With merengue on top. Which will mean that I need to reactivate my pie-crust making skills.
