Woke up at 5.17 ( no idea why my alarm keeps thinking that’s a good time; it’s supposed to be smart, though) got up around 5.30. Did yoga, meditated and wrote morning pages. Made breakfast for myself and the boy, the usual.
Did not start a new knitting project but added some rows to the burgundy shawl. While talking with my husband.
I did walk all the way to the garden center for anti-ant stuff, then on to the supermarket. I already had a feeling that I was getting a lot when the list was rather long. And again when the shopping cart was rather full. But I definitely felt it when I had packed all five bags and was lifting them out of the cart for my trek home. Fun!
I actually rested every five minutes for a few minutes.
Brought everything home just in time to help with making lunch. My arms felt like they were about to fall off. As I’m typing this they’re still attached, though. Lunch was good:
I did the dishes right away with my husband’s help, took a short break and then had to start teaching.
Filled the afternoon with that, had dinner, didn’t do anything non-frivolous, spun very little while watching some Youtube and got read for bed. Here’s a picture of my spindle:
Today there will be some cleaning, the changing of the sheets, lots of teaching and probably some prepping red currants for making jam. Again, no email, no podcast, no novel. The boy and I might watch the Voyager finale, we’ll see.
