I did get enough sleep for a change which also meant that I didn’t have much time sitting in bed before breakfast. (Why yes, there still was no writing. Harumph.)
I actually spent most of the day refreshing the tab on my phone that showed the delivery status for my new phone. It said that it had arrived at the post office the night before and that was it. All day. Until last night when it said it was getting ready to be shipped. Maybe it will be here today.
So there was breakfast and talking and knitting and then the boy’s breakfast and then it was time to get ready for my first student of the day. He was unusually focused. Maybe it was the morning lesson, I usually see him in the afternoon and he is only five.
Then I walked to the health food store because we were lacking two vital ingredients for lunch. Helped to make lunch:
Then dishes and after that my second student of the day. A short break and another student. I had had plans to sew after that but again – I didn’t. This is getting rather boring. At least I finally managed to write my August Patreon newsletter. Phew.
The boy and I watched Star Trek and I spun. And then it was off to bed. With some more reading beforehand, of course. I’m currently reading „Lace and Lies“ by Nancy Warren. I did enjoy the six other books in the series. It is a rather cozy paranormal mystery with a knitting shop – and a cat – in Oxford. And I can’t wait to start reading „Reticence“ by Gail Carrier, I’ve been waiting for this one for a year or so.
Today my husband will be leaving once again to visit another friend of his in Austria. Well, almost Austria. Which means I will have to decide what to have for lunch. I also want to go for a run, write 2,000 words and finish the Kew dress but I guess that’s a little unreasonable.
