Though I was petering out a bit at the end.
Since I managed to go to bed on time and set my alarm 15 minutes earlier not only did I have time for the complete morning routine (including yoga, yeah!), I also finally went in the shower.
Then breakfast, some more crochet, and the usual online rounds.
I did descale the electric kettle and change the BRITA filter and then was off to the supermarket rather late. Did spend quite a bit of time trying to find some interdental brushes my husband wanted but without success.
Came back home for lunch, only to find that my husband was all done already:
Since I found the meal a little unsatisfying I decided to just eat a few spoons of the ice cream that I bought because it was on sale. Reader, it is confirmed, I can not eat just a little bit ice cream. I decimated the whole pint and felt somewhat full the rest of the day.
I also did another covid test because of our weekend trip and it was negative. Yes!
Then I sat around playing silly games and reading until it was time for my first student of the day. The second student had canceled (ear infection) and so I had time to watch one of Becca Syme’s monthly Zoom calls. It was very interesting but I had to leave early to teach.
Then I had two delightful students, started writing this post, did bodyweight training with the boy, finally ate dinner, made a list of publishing tasks, watched some C-drama while knitting and went to bed.
Oh, and I did end up ordering a second 1.5 mm circular for the Westknit KAL because the first one is in a project where I can’t decide if I should finish it, if so how, or if I should just rip it all back. I’m afraid, if I pull the needle out I’ll forget which size I used and will never touch that pair of fingerless mittens again.
And yes, I’m going against all my rules for how many projects I’m allowed to start at once. Shh.
Anyway, today should be a day with more free time. And Chinese takeout, at least that’s the plan.
