Which is definitely not all that young anymore.
I did get enough sleep again and then did my complete morning routine and that made me feel a little more grounded and calm. Surprise!
There was cake for breakfast which I already showed you. I had great plans of cleaning and exercise and novel revision but in the end I barely managed to do the breakfast dishes before we left at 12.15 for the Greek restaurant.
We walked there, the weather was very nice, freezing and sunny with blue skies and we talked, all three of us. I completely forgot to take any pictures at all. We shared a plate of Greek antipasti and for the first time in years it was not way too much because we just shared one portion of antipasti instead of getting three. I had caved and ordered the fish that every single old lady I know orders at that restaurant, my husband got the Adonis plate (all the meat) and the boy was left with just a few zucchini burgers. The next time we should order him some fries or rice to go with that. Everything was very pleasant again. We walked back home, already pretty tipsy.
And then I read and drank chamomile tea and scrolled and read some more and ate some more cake and played silly games and talked with my son and with my husband and refilled two fountain pens and played the piano a little and then we opened a bottle of champagne and talked a lot more because champagne especially makes the boy and me never shut up again, and we looked things up on Wikipedia and then the boy and I ate dinner and talked some more.
I started writing this post, enrolled in a new course about planning long-term, did Duolingo, watched some C-drama while crocheting and went to bed.
I did feel rather tired all day which is part of why I got nothing done but I feel that I needed a day off after the week I had.
And as always I’m hoping to get some more stuff done today.
