I woke up too early again, this is getting a little tiring, literally. At least I managed to keep the novel-reading to 15 minutes and then did my full morning routine. Which this time also included talking to the boy while attempting to do yoga. And getting told by him that I wasn’t doing what I was supposed to but, well, my attention was somewhat divided, thank you very much.
Since I had gone without doing the dishes or taking a shower the morning was a little hectic. But I did manage to do everything I was supposed to. Sadly, switching back to the shampoo that makes my hair shiny and not frizzy won’t work because now I’m back to having an itchy scalp. So back to the anti-itch shampoo it is. My poor hair.
I went to the health food store a little later than usual and when I came back husband was right in the middle of cooking. I put the groceries away, found that the laundry was done and hung that up. We finally sat down to eat around half past one just to be interrupted by my panicky mother-in-law. The wood shredding service was there and we had forgotten all about it. I never put it in my digital calendar, only on the paper one in the kitchen and my husband put it in his for today. Oops.
The guys were nice enough to wait for us to sprint out and drag all the branches and such out from behind the compost. We worked like crazy for half an hour and ended up with mulch to put back on the compost. Phew.
By then I had 45 minutes left before I needed to teach. We sat down again and finished eating. This is potatoes with lentils. Very yummy:
I took a short break and then taught all the students. My voice is still not completely back, I can sing but not very loud and high notes are a big strain as is talking too much. But I’m getting there.
After teaching I was happy to find my husband doing the dishes. I ate dinner, started writing this post, did Duolingo, watched some C-drama while knitting and drinking a beer and went to bed on time for a change.
Today will be a lighter teaching day and I’m hoping to do some form of exercise later. Also, opening the manuscript would be a very good thing.
