Thanks for all your comments. I have to admit that I cheated a bit. These pictures were taken the week before. So for now everything's been taken care of, apart from the ironing and I'm seriously contemplating letting my guests have crumply napkins.

You all did right concentrating on the fun things. The problem I have is not the things waiting to be done but that when I have done them there instantly forms a line of still more things to do after them. That's life I think. I read an organisational book that said everybody has about 70 to 100 unfinished projcts all the time and I thought, "Thank God! I'm not the only one." This guy said the important thing is not to get everything done but to feel good about the things that are still waiting.

Beck, thanks for the link.

Adrian, I used to be like that and in a way still am. But I found that a lifestyle like this needs days or weeks of regeneration, and my life is more like a marathon than like a series of sprints. So I have to pace myself going on and on and on. Busyness doesn't help to find the space for creativity. It only makes me feel needed and important.

We did nothing BUT fun things together. Well, that and the grocery shopping, but that was still together. Today we went to the Mystic Aquarium and I got to pet some kind of Ray. It was very soft.

I love being busy. It makes me rush around and do things quickly without procrastinating as much as I usually do. Even if some things get left undone, being too busy still gives me the feeling that I'm not wasting any time.

My house will have to wait in vain - good luck with yours!
I fixed my link to the awards site, by the way. I had it on an older link where I wasn't mentioned. Because I am dumb like that.

There's a lot of waiting at our house, too - laundry waiting, dishes waiting, waiting, waiting. It will have to wait, tho', because there is snow, and we need to play.
